Athletes drift in and out of engagement\, standards feel inconsistent\, and progress becomes difficult to sustain. The most frustrating part is not knowing why athletes aren’t fully buying in. Buy-in is harder than ever. Attention is fragmented\, expectations are often unclear\, and motivation is frequently mistaken for structure. Without clear systems\, coaches spend more time managing behavior than developing athletes. This presentation introduces The Athlete Buy-In Rate — a simple\, practical framework coaches can use to understand\, measure\, and improve athlete engagement. Instead of guessing or reacting\, coaches learn how to build buy-in through clear standards and repeatable systems that reduce daily chaos and drive consistent results. What You’ll Learn: Why athlete buy-in is harder right nowThe Athlete Buy-In Rate\, explainedSystems that consistently improve engagementHow to run a Buy-In Audit to identify and fix breakdowns quickly10:30-11:30 am – LECTUREExploration of Annual Training for Women’s College Soccer by Sophia Cheros OVERVIEW: This presentation examines the annual periodization of strength training\, speed development\, conditioning\, and overall athletic performance\, providing insight into the natural ebb and flow of the year — from the off-season\, through the preseason\, and into the championship phase. It will also explore how NIL and the transfer portal have influenced both physical development and team culturewithin the college game. Overall\, the session highlights how sustained performance and long-term success are achieved through collaboration between sports performance\, athletic training\, and the coaching staff\, ensuring athletes are developed\, supported\, and prepared at every stage of the season. 11:45-12:15 pm – LUNCH PROVIDEDMore Than a Meal\, It’s a Networking Opportunity Lunch at the NHSSCA Clinic is not just about grabbing a plate and catching up with your usual circle. It’s a chance to collaborate\, share\, and expand your professional network. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just stepping into the field of high school strength and conditioning\, this is your moment to connect with coaches who inspire\, mentor\, and challenge you to grow. If you leave this clinic without making at least one new connection\, you’ve missed an incredible opportunity to grow professionally and personally. The NHSSCA is more than an organization—it’s a #FAMILY\, built on shared knowledge\, support\, and a commitment to making each other better. So\, don’t just eat—engage\, listen\, and learn. The people sitting around you might change how you approach coaching forever. Let’s make this lunch one to remember! #NHSSCA #FAMILY #CoachingConnections #GrowYourNetwork 12:30-1:30 pm – LECTUREIntegrating Technology: Building a High-Performance High School Training System by Vincent Martins OVERVIEW: Gain insight into how technology is used across all sports at Windermere Preparatory School to build a comprehensive\, high-performance training system. This session will explore how tracking speed and agility\, along with bar speed\, power output\, and jump height\, can enhance athlete development and inform smarter training decisions. Attendees will see live examples of these methods in action\, as well as practical ways to apply the same concepts with or without technology. Coaches will leave this clinic with a clear understanding of how to implement velocity-based training (VBT) and other performance technologies immediately upon returning to their weight rooms. 1:45-2:45 pm – LECTURELessons Learned Over 4 Decades of Coaching by Richard Lansky OVERVIEW: While many aspects of strength and conditioning and coaching have evolved over the past four decades\, certain principles and coaching practices have stood the test of time. In this session\, Coach Lansky shares the key lessons learned throughout his career that have helped him guide athletes toward success both on the field and in life. Drawing from decades of experience\, he highlights foundational coaching values\, decision-making strategies\, and methods that remain effective regardless of trends or technology. Although applicable to athletes at all levels\, this presentation places a special emphasis on the high school student-athlete\, offering practical insights coaches can apply immediately in their programs. 3:00-3:30 pm – ROUNDTABLE 3:30-3:40 pm – CLOSING REMARKSSweep The Shed \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Special 'Thank You' to our partners \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n	Who's coming?\n\n	23 people are attending 2026 NHSSCA Florida State Clinic \n	\n \n	\n \n	\n \n	\n \n	\n \n	\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n\n	Tickets\n\n \n Who's coming?\n	\n	\n The numbers below include tickets for this event already in your cart.
