When athletes compete it enables them to perform the drill at higher levels of effort\, which leads to greater adaptation. This presentation will provide demonstrations and examples of what drills can be most efficient with the time you have. \n10:15-11:00 am – LECTURE\nCoaching Big Groups Effectively by Corey Meredith \nOVERVIEW: With one coach and large groups often times it gets tricky to navigate how to best program your workouts and drive intent. This presentation will go over how to manage a large group setting\, drive competition and ensure the weight room stays organized and structured so you can coach most efficiently without many resources or help. \n11:15-12:00 am – LECTURE\nMaster the Fundamentals by John Ellis \nOVERVIEW: Learn how to coach the fundamental movement patterns required for all athleticism. This presentation will go over the best exercises to select for highschool athletes. The lecture will also discuss how to master each movement through the use of programming from a week to week perspective and the entire year as a whole. Many of our highschool athletes lack the basic skills necessary to perform athletic tasks efficiently so our job is to help them move with proficiency thus enabling them load exercise safely. Quality over quantity\, quality movements slow cooked and slowly progressed year after year will reap big adaptations. \n12:00-12:20 pm – ROUNDTABLE \n12:20-12:30 pm – CLOSING REMARKS\nJeremy Evans \nSpecial ‘Thank You’ to our partners\n\n  \n2024 NHSSCA Florida Family Day\nFamily Days are free 3-hour mini-clinics that include a lecture portion\, hands-on session\, and end with a coach’s roundtable.
