OVERVIEW: In this dynamic presentation, we will dive into the art of strength progression, guiding coaches and trainers on how to safely and effectively take their athletes from mastering bodyweight exercises to confidently lifting barbells. Learn how to design structured, progressive programs that match the individual development of your athletes, optimize performance, and minimize injury risks. This session will equip you with practical insights to ensure your athletes build a solid foundation and progress seamlessly towards greater strength and performance goals.

OVERVIEW: Morgan will explore how Title IX has transformed the landscape of gender equity in sports. Drawing from her extensive experience in sports advocacy and leadership, Powell will discuss Title IX’s critical role in advancing opportunities for women and girls in athletics. The presentation will highlight the ongoing challenges and opportunities in coaching, safeguarding, mental health, and inclusion of LGBTQ+ athletes, showcasing the potential of Title IX to further the cause of equality in both grassroots and national sports initiatives.
