It focuses on understanding the importance of strength in track acceleration, integrating plyometrics and power training, and employing periodization for optimal results.

OVERVIEW: As strength coaches, our job is not merely to get athletes through a training program, but also to help them understand how the training program enhances their athletic and human performance. We can even take it a step further to engage and inform parents, sport coaches and administration for support, which will help create a robust experience for the student-athlete and sports programs. But we need to channel the educator within us.
