Benton Football – Year Round Strength Season by Jason Gentry
OVERVIEW: The presentation will include a snapshot overview of the year-long football strength schedule used at the consistently successful 6A Benton Football program. Provided will be descriptions of the progressions implemented to maintain a solid base of strength, agility, and speed used to keep athletes primed and healthy to compete at a high level. Overview will include off-season, pre-season, and in-season protocols. This presentation is a must-see if you are looking for ways to streamline your athletic training programs.

Control to Chaos – Utilizing Speed & Agility Games for Athlete Preparation by Michael Gragg
OVERVIEW: Overview of implementing a training program that includes speed, agility, and game-like scenarios for your athletes. This presentation will include modifying training with certain time or space conflicts.

Design and Implementation of a High School Strength and Conditioning Program by Kord Simpson & Brandon Jay
OVERVIEW: This would be a co-presentation between Kord Simpson(NSCA-CSCS, CSAC, RPR L1, FMS L1) and Brandon Jay. This presentation will cover the ins/outs – pros/cons of developing a strength program in the Junior/ High public school atmosphere. This lecture will focus on the progression of an athlete and their sports development, scheduling athletics teams on where and when to lift, and the challenges of dealing with sport coaches/overcrowding/nutrition, etc. We will describe our progression with in-season, off-season and pre-season programs.

Against All Odds: How to Train & Move the Needle Forward by Kirk Benson
OVERVIEW: With so many facility issues, coaching opinions, practices, and different sports seasons, lack of proper sleep and nutrition…how in the world will we train the athletes we lead? How will we add to the value of their athletic needs? With all the odds stacked against us, one way to address this is to microdose! Getting our athletes the needed dose to help move the needle of their athleticism ahead, even when the odds seem stacked against us.
