Create and instruct Soldiers on physical training routines. In charge of physical training for the unit. Maintain the records for progress.

• Teaching Techniques & Fundamentals – Coaching players on stances, footwork, hand placement, shedding blocks, pass rushing, and gap responsibility.
• Developing Defensive Strategies – Working with the defensive coordinator to design schemes and assignments for the defensive line based on opponents’ offenses.
• Conditioning & Strength Training – Ensuring players build the strength, agility, and endurance needed for their position.
• Game Planning & Film Study – Analyzing game film to prepare for opponents and to improve individual and team performance.
• Motivating & Mentoring Players – Providing leadership, discipline, and motivation to help athletes grow both on and off the field.
• Practice Organization – Running position-specific drills during practice and ensuring players understand their roles.
• Collaboration – Working with the defensive coordinator and other coaches to develop a cohesive defensive unit.
