• Provided student-athletes with a learning environment regarding the sport being played using knowledge and teaching ability.
• The expansion of leadership and work ethic skills allowed for the game to be taught and allowed thorough practice plans to be developed.

• Supervised and taught students’ necessary educational material for the day. Spent most of my time working with and assisting in elementary (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6) special education and Physical Education (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12).

• Created daily calendar of events for students to participate in & coordinate field trips.

• Assisted a student limited to a wheelchair with day-to-day functions including feeding, restroom use, educational activities and basic life skills.

• Activities included physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and education goals, both in the classroom and in special classes like adaptive physical education, art and music.

• Assisted the classroom teacher with everyday classroom functions, that include educational, behavioral and social learning experiences.

• Focus was spent on teaching children starting at the age of four how to communicate and use their words, as well as teaching them basic educational requirements for NYS UPK standards.
