As the NHSSCA continues to grow and support all High School Strength & Conditioning Coaches throughout the country, our organization has adapted to meet the demands it placed upon it. To this end, per an email sent out to all members in the past couple of months, we are in the process of creating a Governance Board. This Board’s role will be to oversee our organization’s daily behind-the-scenes business operations. Our current Regional Advisory Board will continue to serve in their role leading their respective regions. Regional Advisory Board members will continue to work with their State Directors to grow the organization.
The new Governance Board will be of the following individuals:
- Executive Director – Rich Grey
- Past Regional Board Chair – Ryan Johnson
- Current Regional Board Chair – Kevin O’Neill
- President
- Open Board Member #1
- Open Board Member #2
The President & Open Board Members positions will be filled by individuals nominated by our membership and leadership. After proper eligibility is determined and all required documentation is submitted, the Regional Advisory Board will narrow down the finalists for Professional Membership. We anticipate this process should get completed by the end of this year at the latest, and we look forward to announcing our new Governance Board as soon as we conclude our voting and properly inform all those involved. Our leadership believes this new structure will aid in streamlining our organizational operations and will significantly benefit our future.
