Train with other coaches.
Start the morning in the weight room together. Experience the session, see how other coaches approach training, and let the work itself create questions worth discussing.
2026 NHSSCA Indiana Family Day • Lift + Roundtable
Start the morning in the weight room with coaches who understand the work. Then take the questions, ideas, and challenges that come out of training directly into an open roundtable discussion. No presentations. No sitting through lectures. Train, talk, ask questions, challenge ideas, and learn from the room.
One lift. One room. Real conversations about the work we do every day.
Strength coaches • PE teachers • Sport coaches • Athletic directors • Administrators • Young professionals
Why Give Us Three Hours?
Indiana Family Day is built differently. You will train together first, then use what happens in the weight room to drive the conversation that follows. Questions, problems, ideas, and observations from the training session become fuel for the roundtable.
Start the morning in the weight room together. Experience the session, see how other coaches approach training, and let the work itself create questions worth discussing.
The roundtable begins with what surfaced during training. Questions, observations, disagreements, and ideas from the session become opportunities to dig deeper and learn from the room.
Advisory Board members will help facilitate discussion around topics such as programming, game day, nutrition, technology, certifications, and relationships with administrators, coaches, parents, and the community.
There is no featured speaker and no formal lecture. The value comes from coaches sharing what they do, asking questions, challenging ideas, and building relationships with people who understand the same work.
The goal is simple: train together. learn together. leave with something useful.

The 1 More Campaign
Indiana Family Day is built around the people in the room. The more perspectives we bring together, the better the training, questions, and conversations become. If you know someone who should be part of that conversation, bring them with you.
They don’t need to have all the answers. They just need to be willing to show up and join in.
Train together. Ask questions. Share experiences. Challenge ideas. Family Day gives someone outside your usual circle a simple way to experience the NHSSCA community firsthand.

Who Belongs in the Room?
Indiana Family Day is built around people who are willing to train, ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another. You do not need a specific title to contribute — and if someone comes to mind who should be part of that conversation, bring them with you.
Train alongside other coaches, compare approaches, ask questions, and bring your own experiences into conversations about programming, technology, nutrition, game day, and more.
Join the training session and explore how strength, movement, physical preparation, and athlete development can connect back to the students you work with every day.
See how coaches approach physical preparation firsthand and join conversations about game-day readiness, athlete development, communication, and the relationship between training and sport.
Step into the environment your coaches work in and join discussions about programming, resources, technology, communication, and how strength and conditioning fits into the larger athletic department.
Hear directly from coaches about the challenges and opportunities they face, and gain perspective on how strong relationships between coaches, administrators, parents, and the community can move programs forward.
Get in the room early. Train beside experienced coaches, ask questions, listen to real conversations, and begin building relationships that can help shape your career.
Come ready to contribute. And think about who else should be in the room.
Save My SeatNo Stage. No Formal Speakers.
Indiana Family Day is intentionally different. There is no formal presentation schedule and no featured speaker at the front of the room. The training session creates the questions. The roundtable gives us the time to explore them.
The morning begins in the weight room. As coaches train together, questions, observations, different approaches, and real coaching problems naturally surface.
Instead of leaving those conversations on the training floor, the group carries them directly into the roundtable and takes the time to dig deeper.
Advisory Board members will help guide the conversation, ask follow-up questions, connect ideas, and make sure different perspectives have an opportunity to be heard.
There is no scripted lecture to get through. If the room finds something worth discussing, we can stay with it. If conversation slows, the Advisory Board will introduce another topic and keep the discussion moving.
Where Could the Conversation Go?
The best conversations may come directly from what happens during the lift. But if the room needs a spark, the Advisory Board is prepared to open discussion around topics coaches deal with every day.
Don’t come just to listen. Come ready to add something to the room.
